Drill a big hole in it. Pour Acetone in it. If your surfboard disapears then it’s EPS.

A.) looks like polyurethane foam to me

If it were me I’d patch that square. Sand the whole tail corner down. Tape it off and apply some 4 oz. to the entire spidered area. Cuz it’s gonna suck…water if you don’t. Mike
thanks mike, I’m afraid this not the only problem area on the board, for example the nose is delaminated, the rails are split at certain spots.In general, where do you usually use 4 oz and where the heavier fibreglass? many thanks, willem

I generally use 4 oz. (or even sometimes 2 oz.) when re-glassing over existing glass job, heavier fiberglass when glassing over only foam, or if existing fiberglass has no strength left.
