bought one… was skeptical, thinking it would complicate the ‘naturalness’ of bodysurfing. used it this weekend in some shitA shorepound … LOVED IT! Cain’t wait to get it in some real stuff… my 14 y/o kid and his pal tried it and are headlong as well.
very few - if any, peeps bodysurf here. when i was like 13 y/o we paddled out - me and pals - to a reef thats’ regular here… thought we saw a nutria/otter out there - turns out to be this statesider guy, full on whiskers going for it… everytime we’d see this guy ride as we were paddling out it’d be like a hypnotic thing – couldn’t take yr eye off him. insane.
this is all blah blah - but i’m pumped.
