YIKES! ! !     I didn’t know him well, met him a few times, last time was at Bird’s Shed.       Nice guy.      A part of surfings history.      Sure hope he bounces back OK.

Wow!! Get well soon Mike!

Mike built my Bonzer quiver back when he was working at Gordon&Smith.

His 360’s were some of my favorites back then.

Get well Mike! Wishing you a speedy recovery!

I did the spray work on Mikes boards when he was having them glassed at Channins in the mid 90’s to early 2000s. Back then he started building prone paddle boards and paddled one from Long Beach to Catalina in a paddle board race. He musta been in his mid 60’s then. Amazing for a guy that age. He’s a really good guy - always friendly when you talked to him.  Always stoked!

Greatest guy, how many hours have I been blessed with talking shop with this legend?  Get well soon friend.

Mike - I’m rootin for ya - wishing you the best recovery possible - Pat

I never met Mike. I always liked the look of his Boards.  Clean and simple lines. I rode a couple of the Eaton Bonzers and really lied them.  Of couse most of us know that Ace worked for him for many years.  Ace is now at his winter stomping grounds in Ecuador.  Mike may you havea speedy recovery.

Come on Mike.  You can do it.  Lowel
