I share this only with Ricardo bocau. If you can prove you had one before 25\3\81. you can have the credit.
Is that you Glen?
If it is then welcome, have fun and be prepared to be challenged. After all, it's the internet.

I was going to say the same !
As far as I know , in Aust, the first 4 fins were by Glen Winton.
Can anyone else around the world precede that date of 25th March 1981 ..?
Way to go with the title too !
And on another note, hows that 6 fin of yours that Jordy Smith was riding in a free surf at Bells comp… Dam that board looks like a magic carpet under his feet… I’m building an 8 fin, ha ha, nar for real mate, true.
…I only hope to here more of your wisdom around this crazy site, everyone is a bit strange on here, hey.
I don’t know who invented the 4 fin, I know you made it have statues. Wish you well Glen, I meet you a few times but don’t expect you to remember.
Cheers
Hiya Glen,
You sure did. And the story goes “How did you invent the 4 fin Glen”, to which you allegedly replied “I removed one fin”.
I had one in the early 80’s, great board, a 5’10, which got destroyed, along with me (almost), one day out at voodoo.
Cheers,
Dave

I can’t remember the date , memory foggy from that time , but you had the first one I remember seeing.
Around the time of the twinflex , maybe a twin flex with stabilizers ? Old Nirvana days.
Rob Allen shaped me one in 1983 ? after seeing yours I guess.
Cheers
