 I was going to say the same !

As far as I know , in Aust, the first 4 fins were by Glen Winton.

 Can anyone else around the world precede that date of 25th March 1981 ..?

And on another note, hows that 6 fin of yours that Jordy Smith was riding in a free surf at Bells comp… Dam that board looks like a magic carpet under his feet… I’m building an 8 fin, ha ha, nar for real mate, true.

I don’t know who invented the 4 fin, I know you made it have statues. Wish you well Glen, I meet you a few times but don’t expect you to remember.

You sure did. And the story goes “How did you invent the 4 fin Glen”, to which you allegedly replied “I removed one fin”.

I had one in the early 80’s, great board, a 5’10, which got destroyed, along with me (almost), one day out at voodoo.

I can’t remember the date , memory foggy from that time , but you had the first one I remember seeing.

Around the time of the twinflex , maybe a twin flex with stabilizers ? Old Nirvana days.

Rob Allen shaped me one in 1983 ? after seeing yours I guess.
