I Want Balsa...

I’m making an 8’ hollow…

If I could get a couple of 4x4’s 8’long I’d be stoked…

Nothing in that length available within 800 miles…

Anyone wanna help me out…???..

Paul

They have to be 4x4s? I was thinking of packing my board bag with balsa on my way back from ecuador, but the space would really be limited to smaller than 4x4 (maybe some 2x4s?), and 7’ and under.

Anyone know about the laws regarding that kind of thing? Importing wood?

I’d be more than happy to help if possible, paul.

Got a buddy coming up from Orange County? This guy’s selling some balsa.

Would almost be willing to bet you can’t bring it in, because of pest risk. You could maybe check the US Customs website?

Hell I dunno–just looked around that site and couldn’t tell which way was up. Call 'em?

are you going to rip the 4x4’s into thin slices?
