Hey everyone, will soon be migrating west, then south in search of waves. I want to shape a few boards for the trip. Already included in the quiver: 1) 9’6 noserider 2) 7’2 single pin 3) 5’8 twin fish 4) mat and fins I want a quiver of boards which can handle any type of surf I will encounter. What am I missing? Thanks for your input- Roland

I basically match your quiver board for board give or take an inch but where’s your high performance thruster?

Hey smokin, I do have a 6’ supercharged thruster. I’m seling it and making something similar with a few changes. So add that to the quiver. I guess I’m wondering whether I need something more than the 7’2 mini gun for big waves? I have little experience in bigger surf.
you should think about a tri fin setup on the gun cause it will hold easier. Iride a 7’2" when its 5-6 ft (backs) and a 7’8" for 6-10 ft. you might also want to go with something longer and thicker for more paddling speed in bigger and faster waves.
sounds like you have it covered.where in Mexico do you plan to go and when? I ask this because you may need to think of a longer gun/semi gun type board depending when and where you are headed.
Hey Matt, want to to do an extended trip down the coast next year. Spring is bad, right? I figured mid to late summer into the fall would be best for swell and weather conditions. I’d like to work my way up to be able to surf decent size Puerto. Any suggestions on what time of year to go and what size gun is greatly appreciated.
