Ideas on a 6'0" standard shortboard for 75kg human

I’ve cut out a planshape to 6’0", 18 1/2". My regular shortboard is 6’4" 18 1/2" 2 3/8". My plan for this new board is to make it 2 1/2 inches thick, and also make the nose and tail a little thicker than a normal shortboard.

My thoughts are to use this board for 4ft waves and below, I feel it will fit in the pocket better than the 6’4". I’ll also make the rails a little sharper than the 6’4". A 4 inch swallow tail will be at the back with maybe one or two flys back there as well (still considering the flys and maybe channels?).

Considering I am 75kg and 5’10", are there any other things you think I should consider when shaping a board at this length. Thanks, Stevo.

Keep the nose thin, and thicken the tail, so the board tips downward when the little waves pick up the tail, allowing you much earlier wave catching and quicker, snappier turns.

If it’s for small waves only, go super shallow concave or flat, since you don’t want to eat up power with the board’s bottom shape.

I am sorry that the US has us on the most retarded system in the world and i haven’t made the personal effort to learn it the right way.

What is 75kg?

They say there website can convert just about anything to anything else…perhaps we could suggest they try a modern day thruster into a 70’s pintail Single-fin…as long they send the photo’s.

The 75kg thing is about 170pounds.
