If you require a poodle to surf...

I thought maybe this could be as funny as silly’s thread…

funny you should bring this up mike, cause i was reading on another forum about a guy who does this, and he is a laywer and…

Poodles: Nature’s floatation devices?

…I like to swing mine frantically at the surface of the water whenever a set approaches…

Resinhead: Poodles: Seals of the land?

[img_assist|nid=1044612|title=suring poodle|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=640|height=418]

words fail me.

I'm working two jobs. Resinhead said he would pick me up at the Harbor in the morning. All I needed to bring was my Poodle and my board.....I can't find my goosh darned Poodle...How on earth am I going to bash seals and surf PickleWeed Point without my Poodle.....I bet those nasty bill collectors kidnapped pour little Ralphie Poodle for randsom..............

grrr. don’t like poodles…

ggrrrr…

The Beagle is CUTE!

Glad to see you guys are running with this.... I thought we could use some fun on here.

Ray, are you and resinhead using the poodles to ''hunt up'' the seals, or is there a more sinister plan? (God forbid you're using Fifi as bait!).

I should also insert disclaimer here that I hold no prejudice towards the legal profession; I have at least 3 boards in process right now for customers of that persuasion. None of them are SUP riders ''testing'' the law by hiding their paddles (err..., poodles), however....

What if I require poodle parts to surf? I make my shorts from woven poodle hair and I eat poodle to fuel my surfing exploits?

on second thought I think I might have figured out what the secret is behind coils, POODLE FUR LAMINATES!!!

Coil Disclaimer: Several Poodles were harmed during the making of this SUPoo.

i have been surfing for 47 years

6 months and 12 days give or take a few hours

I think it is the scariest thought in the world

to have dog butt in your face while prone paddling out.

surfing in green county is closely regulated about poodle paddling

for a reason, the paddle will keep your hands free of excrement

contamination while adjusting the canus poodilifaricansis

on the deck of the board during the ride.

Of course tandem lifts are a diffrent story.

then the poodles only zone at dana strand is another.

...ambrose...

poodle surfers

are like quadraplegic

heroin addicts...

some one other than the poodle

surfs,if that poodle takes off in front of me again

I'm telling the life guard.

or maybe turn that dog in for

no licence.

in Los angeles the leash law ordinance

doesn't apply once you are in te water

this is a test case before the california supreme court

to use up the extra money they save by closing bolsa chica.

I am not arnold schwartzen hoffer

but he does approve all messages

that result in contributions

to his fund for reelection

as dog catcher in poodle surfing contests.

the guy at the shore that puts the puudle back on the board

is more than half the team that makes puudle surfing the greatest

sport on the earth....................... the sport of queens.

I dont poodle surf

but my friend once owned a poodle named pepe

and it compels me to comment on this topic efflusively

and I also am doing research on poodle intestinal blockage

relative to martial law in the philipines after world war two.

Here's how we keep pickleweed pt clean.

The seal slayer 2000 runs twin 350hp 4 stroke yamaha's outboards.  We flat line clip the poodles (read 2 poodles) from the outriggers back to the transom on the very far corners. set the poodles at about the 2nd or 3rd wake,....pretty close to the boat.  Ok here's the tricky part  you have to bridel & hook the poodles so they don't get hurt because some times you'll be trolling the poodle for 30 mins-2 hrs., and you don't want them spinning or getting tangled if the waterlog and drown out. But, around here it only about 15 mins.   But I digress again....ok,  You trolling with the poodle at about 3-4 knots,  the seal come up in the wake to take a look at the little white freak show in it's glittery colar.  The seal takes a small nip at the dog and pops the flatline and drops back on the rigger, the dog is now free swimming in a circle... follow me..(that's what a lame poodles does...swim in circles...oh, did I mention I cut the back leg of the poodle so it would swim in a circle...oops my bad).. I digress again, sorry.  Anyhow, now the seal is completely mezomrizzzed by the little dog, can't hear or see anything except the dog...wierd?   I slam the twin 350's in to full backdown mode...I mean FWOT, water over the transoms shit.....POW! right into the seal,  Then I spin on him, and put the boat in a full power cavitating 180', POW.... right over the top of him.  Nothing left of old pinhead except a grease mark.

Poodles are colleratal damage I guess? The ones that survive 5 trips get to go free.

Good times, good times.

My worst fears have been realized.

Did you ever read ''Dogfishing in America'' in National Lampoon back in the mid-70s? This involved pickup trucks with fighting chairs mounted in the back, but the thought was similar.

I almost spit my drink out on my computer laughing at that one!

I'd be seriously remiss here if I didn't say Ambrose's post added a lot to this thread. He never ceases to amaze me. LMAO.

And contrary to the persistent internet rumors, no poodles were harmed in the production of our boards.
