I know you guys will get a kick out of this thing… Pretty unique and intriguing concept. Those two blades out in front reminded me about some conversations awhile back about how thicker fins are faster. He talks about hydrofoils a little too and how his idea can overcome some of the hydrofoil’s sortfalls, which I think are probably about the same in surfing and in boating…

They almost look hoop-like.
They are totally different from the boat in your post John, the foils run fore and aft and lift from the bottom surface only, not like the immersed foils in the boat in your picture.
this came up a while back . … i think the thread was titled 'hoop concepts '. . . its a variant of hydrofoil-age. I remember become some ppl posted basketball stuff.
