Info on Surf-jet, not the motorized boards

Hi All,

There is a Surf-jet board listed on Craigslist in my area.  The board looks to be a transition era board and seems to be in fair condition, but is missing the fin and I can't identify the fin box.  I've never heard of the board before, except for the motorized boards, and was hoping someone could provide some information.  Any information would be appreciated.

Any pictures? Ive seen cory lopez testing out the wavejet and the thing looked sick… no paddling necesary, controlled by the wrist watch, lets you really fly down the line… I’m a novice shaper and was talking to the rep who was out filming and he said if I could design and slot a board and fit the motor myself it would be a lot cheaper to get one…so As for the fins and the board, it could be directly made by the company who makes the motor, or it could be anyone else who gave it a shot…check out wavejet.com

Do you have the link to the ad? Surf Jet was a short-lived company based out of Long Island. It has been discussed here before. Try searching the archives.

Thanks Sammy.  The add has been deleted so I guess I won't be picking that board up.  I searched the archives and found very little information beyond what you had already provided.
