Info wanted: Surfboards by Mr. Bill

I stumbled upon a well crafted old school style twin keel fish in the used rack of my local shop. I believe it’s a backyard/garage builder but he obvisly knew what he was doing.

It just says “Oh No! Surfboards by Mr. Bill” on the stringer on the deck along with “Flying fish,” on the bottom along the stringer it just has the dims. I’m looking for any info on the shaper of this board. The shop didn’t know anything. Maybe even the shaper of this board is a regular here.

mahalo.

That could be Bill Stewart,

if I wuz yu, I’da buy it , show up at Mr. Bill Stewarts

digs in San Clemente and try to sell it back to him.

Could make you a pretty penny.

On the other hand ,stamp

and coin collecting is an easier go of it?

Well, I don’t think it’s Bill Stewart. Anyway, I’m really stoked on the board and I’m not asking to try to make money on it or sell it. I just want to know more about who shaped it. I would post pics but don’t have digital camera. Anyone else know a shaper that goes by “Oh No! Surfboards by Mr. Bill” he calls the board “Flying Fish” on the stringer and the the dims. It’s a traditional twin keel fat ol’ fish.

Anyone???
