Hi. I´m trying to built my 1st “wood surfboard” and i´m having trouble to get balsa here in Portugal so i´m thinking in use another wood is that ok? Does it work well with another wood?

try and get your hands on some Paulownia Timber. its light and strong.
its what a lot of people use for chambered timber boards…
