here we go, pics of first days work. 8’0" x 21" x 3" x 13" tail x 11" nose. Wide point center.
Looks like a big board, should go well.
I know its a work in progress but if it were me, the next thing I’d be thinking about is thinning that tail out a lot…
to me the whole board looks chunky.
chunky monkey… just the outline guys. Chip likes pics. Give a working man a break! LOL!! Just skinned and squared rails. Have not gotten to page 104 of Knistle yet. More work to come. But first after work, take to #1 son to boy scouts, cook dinner, take wifey to the gym, make lunches for the kidlets, check homework…
the chunky monkey is ready to glass…I think. Here’s some pics. I’m not too sure about the nose rail transition to the rails down the side. It’s an 11" nose to a 21" wide point. You’ll see what I mean in one of the pics. The pic does make it look more than it is. Double concave to flat out the tail. Over all dimensions are 8’ x 21 x 3" x 12.5 tail x 11 nose. 3" tail rocker - 6" nose rocker
Tim,
looks fun call me when you come down here to ride it.
Call if you need help glassing or just email? I can come up this weekend.

heya,
6 oz. lam coat on the bottom last night. Clear free lap. Way better than #001. Only one dry spot vs. too many to count on#1! Clean that up and 2x6 oz. the deck tonight. Hot coat, fins and sand Friday. Hopefully surf Sat.
