Where’s it come from…???.. http://www.hollowsurfboards.com
It comes from a lot of different places. I’ve gotten loads off this site. And for that matter, your site too, Paul. All my templates are done, and I’m working on the skeleton frame of my own hollow wood board. I’ll send you pics when I’m done. Regards, Red
Hey Paul, Good question: For me it’s accepting a new challenge and trusting experience, intuition and nature. The way it often happens is that someone says, “I think this will work, but what do you think?” This points the way to the discovery’s door but the door is always locked until one the courage to attempt making a key to open it. Some try; some don’t care; some listen to the voice inside and pay attention to their dreams. Rest preceeds inspiration. The ones that listen and envision things and act find it. Some folks have a talent for stimulating it in others but in the end it’s a result of self discovery in the support of one’s fellows. This may little more than spume and so it may be. Inspiration is about as easy to grasp as it is. Mahalo, Rich
Surfing! That is enough Inspiration. It can change lives…
Harlan Ellison wrote an article about where he got inspiration…His one take in that article was misunderstanding what some one said, and thruogh this reinterpreting he found an inspiration.often on a completely diffrent tack… sometimes a contrary attitude can open up an examination of the accepted regular solution …especially good when added in with a little ego to drive the contrary attitude into the propper gear to make the brainchild actually function…A special request can also take form as it will (timewise) into somthing progressive…Like a jazz riff three notes of an old familar song from way back when can blow a new hole in the future fabric like watching Thelonius Monk doin’ spinners before sitting down at the keys…I left a blank on the rack at home before going to honolulu in 1976…when I saw Pops Ah Choy paddling out the next morning on his Knees with a scoop paddle I enthusiasticly asked him how long his board was…when I went home I knew just how long to cut it… 11’1’’ …ambrose…I’ll bet the next rock overturned on the creek bed could have the majic telepathic helgamite with the keystone concept to complete the project! Lets go fishin for inspiration
Jesus Ambrose, you’re blowin’ my mind! Thanks for the inspiration.
put on some shoes
AAAH!!! The telepathic helgramite retrieved from under the rock in the creek… fine, fine fishing bait! Just hook that little critter live and fly line him 'til they bite. Works every time.
I’m inspired by Ambrose’ mention of Gary Propper’s gear. I know that this is a somewhat subliminal message telling us that we should all be wearing armored Mutant Ninja Turtle style wetsuits in crowded conditions. What an inspiration…
