Hey guys,
It took some getting used to (a few waves)…started using it with the cluster spread at 5.25…a bit too sensitive and pivoty.
Then set at 5.75 (thanks Lokbox!)…NOW its getting very interesting!
That speed generating S-carve thing Kendall talked about is quite trippy on this board.
So far so good…Im very excited about the possibilities…including 5 fins. The goal is to be able to crank hard (not nursed) bottom turns with total control and drive. Not easy to do with a wide tailed board and three fins…appears more doable with 4 or more. I will make more comments as I get in more sesions…jury still out.

Turning arcs seem so much tighter and positive…
(tighter is good for these parts).
Its like surfing a potato chip without actually riding the potato chip.
The rail hold and speed out of turns…damn.
Its meant to be rail surfed, and Im all about the rails.
Seems like Lokbox Jim was way ahead of the pack.
Gonna try five, soon I hope.
(its also very cool to be experimenting with fins again!)

This multi-fin stuff is getting rediculous.
Seems like there’s no slowing down on rail - its not accelerating but it feels like it in comparison. Its not just the fins tho its the whole package.
I want to say something like “I’m never riding a 3 again”
but that would be pushing it.
Its weird…you think you have it all figured then something new hits you…a new synergy…then you ponder all the new possibilities…

This started as 4…the 5 was a “last minute” overnight change thats why it looks diff than Griff’s…a living experiment if you will.
Strangely enough, it felt a bit too free back there (in a good way tho), so Im bumping up the size bit whenever I get the opportunity (GX’s maybe?).
The reality tho it works great as a 4 cuz the board is quite wide…but it doesnt feel wide.
