When so many are hung up on rocker (deck or bottom), outline, foil, precise position of fins, etc., it's refreshing to see another wack job doing some insane surfing on what is basically a finless slab of plywood...
Ah liked when the paths
of waveski and skim straighten-off
almost imapcted! OIly Chroips
flat man,
real surfing til the added tow rope made
it a water-ski activity.
wow truly wacky
a great opportunity to leave the water to watch
as the saftey and cross chop of petro-powered
wake increased the danger quotient exponentially.
…ambrose…
Puerto escondido?
the wild west of surfing
mexico where the unregulated
Gringos will spawn a new generation
of entitled mexican me-tooists
I shudder to think of the consequences
to be placed on the shoulders of future
wave fields.Add some tequilla and
Auwe!
WOW, that looked incredibly difficult and technical! Add some outline curve to an alaia…
Next thing you know, they’ll add some fins and start generating speed and doing carves in waves of consequence. ; )
It's a skimboard and the guy rips on them. First time I've seen video of anyone tow surfing Puerto Escondido on one, that's for sure.
One more nail in the coffin. I'm a total kook....had some fun today in mushy 3-4 foot Carlsbad.....
Stingray
Really interesting one.

I put this one up a while back. The kid surfs a regular board very well also, but the sh#t he does on skim is extraordinary.
It ain't plywood, btw.
I saw footage of some skimboarders ages ago at a little left that wedged off this tiny jetty then peeled down the beach…
The guys were hitting the peak like “regular” skimboarding, setting up the bowl - tube - down the line ripping…
