I must express my frustrations. I am 29 yrs old and have been shaping my own board for the last couple of years. I find it as a sort of therapy for dealing with the stress from desk job. Unfortuneately my therapy session may soon be over! I shape out of my girlfriends garage. Last night she dropped the bomb on me…No she didn’t kick me to the curb…she is not renewing her lease at the end of November. She wants a smaller place closer to beach. You know what that means, no more garage and no more shaping. What is a man to do? At least I feel better after spilling my guts!
who does your glassing? often times, the factory will let you use one of their rooms in exchange for their services. good luck. kirk

s see, what
s wrong with this picture: living with your girlfriend and shaping surfboards in a smaller place closer to the beach… although spilling your guts is important as one of the many steps toward a full recovery, youre still really sick, and you need to join the S.A. support group as soon as possible. Local glass shops have a bay, max price is 10 bucks for the room, if lucky free for giving them your business…hint, winter slow down months are a good time to go to a glass shop for a day rental. All of a sudden your best friends are those who own garages…
