Picked up my new board last week and after a day or two i noticed a small spot (1/2 inch in diameter) thats probably sanded to much (or chafed during shipping).
Is this something i need to fix?

Looks like a burn through from sanding. I doubt it happened in shipping. Also, looks like a spray finish. I’d say, spray with clear acrylic sealer.
There was probably some sort of bugger in the glass job there and the sander flattened it out. Probably totally harmless. Is it on the deck or bottom? Perhaps a little wipe with acrylic concrete sealer.
