theres only a few photos, but they show the board off well, its a 6’6, very wide tailed hull…tapered stringer ends 11" from the tail, the owner of the board is around here on sway’s somewhere…jim? you out there?

YOU made that? Awesome. I especially like the leaf detail. Real leaves? What species of plant is that? I remember seeing a similar plant glassed into baords back in the 70’s.
Is that a deck patch between the pinlines with volan? Whether it is or not, outstanding work.
Can I ask you how big a hole did you drilled for the leash? I assume you drill one big hole, fill it back up with resin, then drill a smaller hole. Dimensions? I’m about to do the same on my board. Do you need any reinforcement glass around the hole on the deck?

and here i was, walking through a beautiful garden, pondering what to put into the board, when i found a JAPANESE MAPLE tree, and though, OH! thats nice, ive always liked those…but naaaaaaah people will notice its not pot…its not that bad!

theyre laminated between the glass and foam, and the whole board is done in volan 
from this angle it looks exactly like a spoon. nice work.

I dont know how the first one went, the guy who bought it got it form the beach house, and was told to call me after he rides it, but i havent heard form him…that one was a 6’2 with a wider tail.
Ive gotten just a little bit of word on this one as it was ridden in small waves, not enough to test it…But so far he likes it and said he was excited to surf it in bigger waves. He said he got a few nice feelings from it, and got to feel the cutback a little bit, but not enough to tell alot.
we’ll see what happens when they get some real aves under their belts, ive got nothing but confidence in them though!

Doesn’t work–you can convert to a PDF using the print menu on AKU and save it to your desktop then attach it here I think
my computer has a problem when i convert my files to pdf, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt…i cant figure it out!
