Howzit hiro, I read some where's it's about 35% of the gas mix exhausted out. Back when there where a lot of boat tours going out from Hanalei we would have to paddle through the rainbow colored emissions and the smell was very detectable, and most of the boats had 2 stroke engines. These emissions nearly killed all the sea urchins inside the bowl zone and since the tours stopped the urchins are thriving again. It's a no-brainer.
Recently I was in Lake Havasu city and they have a problem with CO2 emmisions in the channel there and people have died from them. They now monitor the emmisions and when to high they shut down traffic in the channel. If you have to have one get the 4 stroke.Aloha,Kokua
Test #1 We tested our weapon at an undisclosed area along the Southern California coast. The area was heavily “infested” with PWCs, and was a perfect proving ground.
As soon as we set sail, a PWC immediately crossed our bow.
The targeting system immediately acquired the target and the missile was launched. The tracking capability of the weapon was impressive.
As we passed the explosion, we assessed the effectiveness of the weapon, which was nothing short of amazing. The PWC had been reduced to some flaming wreckage at the intercept site, which was surrounded by a 500 yard “debris field” being rained upon by burning bits and pieces.
Howzit Benny, Love those missiles, and you are a good shot, keep up the good work.Aloha,Kokua
my friend tom sent me this:
One day, in 1955 we saw a picture of Jim Fisher on a 15 foot wave at Makaha, and quaked in our boots, remember?

I wrote back:
in 1955 I was seven/
my boots were for having my picture taken
on a pony in front of mrs rosecranz’s house
in the shade accross the street on teddy avenue.
when I saw my first picture of big wave surfing
it was remote yet touchable conceptually.
the elite and gladatorial niche established
by the morphing of the internal combustion
motor heads ingenuity and nifty accessories
is what I see shutting me out of the empathic rush
you wish to share.
I am in a state of empathic shutdown
I simply cannot identify with the
smoking exaust of these water charriots.
praise them for what they are
I do not wish to be within the fallout zone of these
evolved contraptions.
I am the result of my father saving my mother from drowning.
My father ,a good example of a competent swimmer
from the aquatics age of the 1920’s and 30’s,
was not a life guard .
he encouraged me to swim well
surfing is advanced swimming.
these guys have taken the prolitarian
can do it element away from the dreamers
in love with the inherent tactile spirituality
that former surfing revolutions had in common.
These spiritual dreamers , decendants of the
old religions of tree worshipers
and others deeply concerned with all that was
applied physical science, questing understanding
as opposed to dominating
in the arena of
unbridled dependence
on more than
guile ,wits,
a home made stick,
and a pair of trunks.
who made fishers board ?
we can know that.
who made the conglomeration of
accessories and petro spewing dragon?
likely to be an indeterminate
group of international assemblers.
surfing is in danger of losing it’s cool to
a barrage of currency confetti
and elitist brash breed of
nouveau riche aristocrats.
alas is this the plight of our promised twenty first century?
my grand father was born about the turn of the last century
that was the moment of fixation for internal combustion
propulsion,
Is this the swansong age
of the dependence on petro- chemical fuel
or not ?
Is surfing going to take the lead in navigating
our culture from defiling the last vestige of
nature evangeline, the breaking surf?
I for one ,
[call me a backward , regressive ,
Butleirian ,running scared from the enevitable overthrow of
mother nature]
do not wish to support any thing to do with these machinations
so as to set my self apart to enjoy My god given niche on the blue planet.
keep these alternatives far away from me.
I am more impressed with the impeller drive you spoke of.
I am sorry I couldn’t take you surfing on the mat while you were here.
the message I left was obviously lost in the shuffle, too bad.
your friend and aquatic sibling
…ambrose…
Benny!!!
Good work bro!
I felt out of my chair laughing and I am still laughing as tears come from the eyes!!!
Great product of your time!
Thanks for the laugh!
I*d still fanzy an electric jetski…
the swiss are working on it…
they call it the water-glider.
I guess it will be a device that glides in front of you under water…and eventually tows a surfer.
