A little experiment here to see what it feels like to have a fish that weighs around 4 pounds. Fashioned after the pavel quad fish, with a Jimbo spin! RR epoxy resin supplied by Jim, thanks man! Hey Gregg the stuff seems pretty easy to work with. Jimbo suggested sealing the blank with 2 coats of resin before lamming, to avoid blow through. Worked out good. She’s not done yet but i’ll post up more pics later.
Doing a 5 oz bottom, and a double 5oz deck. See it (or ride it) at the fish fry this sunday in oceanside.
Drilled for a micro plug which can be installed into the blank and glassed over.
