Just a thought..

How do you guys think a canard quad fish with the fcs curved fins in the back would ride? I think I just might give this one a go… seems like it would be fast and have drive since the quad set up produces alot of drive and the curved template produces alot of lift…

makes sense to me, why dont you try it and report with your findings. the only way to really find out is to do it.

heh, yea I would love too…i have no time rigth now…when I get some free time and extra money I’ll do this though, I think it would FLY…

I haven’t tried the curved FCS, but seems they’d be best as the front pivot fin, while the trailer gives you direction and low drag being standard shape.

What LeeDD said. I’ve got a 6’2" quad that I played around with probably 10 different FCS fin combinations. I settled on the curved fins (G-CRV) in front and longboard sidebites in the back. Lots of drive and hold but still loose and pivots well in small wave pockets. They work decent in the back in bigger waves, but it tends to stiffen the board up too much for my liking.

well, I will obviouly have to go FCS anyway so interchanging the curved fins front to back wont be a problem, I jsut need to decide on the other two fins, I’m going to need soemthign small, I might make my own template
