Water today here was 22*C with a coolish NE seabreeze and I started to shiver in my springsuit.

unreal but as you know so bone chilling true. I was born south of you Marquette. We used to do lake Erie, a place called point peelee, Canadian side.
The 54 degrees was a dare at port huron. Nice yellow perch and Tawas had the salmon.
Freshwater seems so cold and heavy, can you tell me about your “regular” break? Was the hunter orange board your idea??
So much for me whining about the 48 deg water temps here. How much rubber do you wear and how long are you staying out? Thats dedication!
I wear a Xcel 6/5/4 front zip … 7mm round toes and 5mm lobster claws.
I was out 2 hours … was going to stay out longer but I had to call in to work … was gonna go hit another spot but they had a load going to California so I figured I’d better leave
