It’s definately good to get a rough idea of how fins interact.
What parameters can you configure?
To be somewhat accurate, you need to at least be able to control the following:
- Flow velocity
- fluidum viscosity
- fluidum density
- dimensions of the fin
If you can’t control these, it is a nice tool for education about basic aerodynamics. To explain: angle of attack, stalling, boundary layer separation, …
