just got my hands on the 4way fin system

I Just recieved my installation kit for this new fin system. Upon initial inspection the box that the fins are secured to look nice and feel pretty solid. One drawback though is that there are currently only 3 different fin templates but I plan on reshaping the fins into a template i like better anyway. I wont be able to install them into any boards for about a month or so when i shape myself some new boards (a 6’“8 and a 7’0”) for the upcoming winter season here in Hawaii. I will post my thoughts on this new fin system after I have a few surfs on them and let you guys know what I think.

You say they are pretty solid? DO they mount with tabs like FCS or full lenth more like Ofishl? Breakaway?

Greg, its a single tab about 2inches long mounted in an eliptical shape box. according to their webpage it is designed to breakaway. For those of you who arent familiar with these fins they are designed so that you have control over several different aspects of of placement, distance from tail, tow in, and cant.

I’ve received word from the west coast rep for 4 way fins that he will be sending a system for the S.A. meeting in Big Sur so we can check 'em out.
