Just installed finbox and have question..

I have made a 6’ 10" ( from 611r blank) x 22 squash tailed and thick funboard with boxy full rails. Was going to set up as a thruster w/ boxes for the thruster fins so I could remove them if I wanted and ride it as a single fin.

The problem is I just installed the main box ( f/u) 6" up fom thr tail instead of the usual 3.5" for a true thruster.

Should I now just forget about the thruster fins or can I go ahead and install their boxes? If so where?

Install the sidebiters.

My fav funboard setup is a twin setup at 16" from the tail, and a 3.5 center trailer at 7" from the tail. That’s measured trailing edges.
