Ok Dave… Well, two of the shops that stock my boards decided to carry this new brand SUPER brand. I was told that the Two guys Bank rolling the whole Super push one from SA and other from USA don’t even surf. Yes this does shit me and NO i wont move on because surfboard shaping is what I do to feed my family of 5…

These are the investors from UM - uncle mike’s (???) glasser turned surf brand - their second attempt at cashing in on the “giant surf industry”. First time flopped. My bet is on this one flopping too. Their “website” is a myspace page.
Why do people think they can make bank on surfing? You’d think people with this kind of money to invest wouldn’t be so dumb.
I heard from a surf shop owner that super was funded by Tony Hawk and it was basically a write off for him.
