Just spent three weeks in Denmark. The Kattegat is the large body of water between Jutland and Sweden and is one hour north of Copenhagen by train. My wife and I visited some Santa Cruz friends who have a summer house there. Here’s several pics for your viewing pleasure.
Wind from the west produced somewhat rideable 1 and 2 foot waves. Sorry I didn’t have my mat. I could have shared some waves with a lone boogieboarder who was trying to catch waves wearing shoes.
The next day a warm wind came from the east and brought temperatures in the high 20’s, low 30’s (celsius). Pushed a clean 4 to 6 inch swell - complete with sets - towards the little sandbars inside swimming lagoons.
about to get shacked!
this one swung wide
local groms showed up
hundreds of waves like this went unridden
micro-dreamland
