Kayak to paddle board conversion

Just wondering has anyone evere tried to or heard of an old racing kayak been made into a paddleboard (prone)

I have seen one going cheap and thought it might be worth a try, the lines look similar enough.

I tried to upload the picture but its being pesky it shoild be in the attacment though

Paul Jensen did a rowing shell conversion similar to what you're talking about. 

You should PM Paul... he'd likely provide details on how he did his.  His 'Resources' post sheds light on the project....
