Mike- Watch the mail- a donation is on the way. When Swaylock’s was down I was bummed. Let us know what else we can do to keep the site up and running- we value it greatly. As I travel I meet the other swayaholics in the water, in the shops, and on the cliffs- its a great community. Thanks for all you do. I am going to send a donation ASAP. I definitely got a LOT out of this site many times. MANY TIMES. And without it, I wouldn’t have had some great boards by some great shapers, particulary Jim Phillips. Plus, I made my own board (though it’s a piece of crap). But it is sound, okay glass job (if heavy), but was a fun learning experience and taught me the value of professional shapers. Great site. I hope it never dies.
Maybe Swaylock’s can have a board auction every year to benefit it ?? and people can donate boards for it??? http://www.speeedfins.com
We had a donation / raffle last year at the “Swayaholics Anonymous” gathering in Big Sur…For those who couldn’t be there, raffle tickets allowed them to win prizes… http://www.hollowsurfboards.com
It looks like we may have to stage a Swayloholics Anonymous 2004 meeting after all… Stay tuned for details and updates.
Hey, how many are on the right coast? Some can’t quite make it to California… http://www.surfrider.org/southjersey/
Mike, There’s a check on the way. And we all owe you many thanks beyond that.
