brandon, yes, i have one board at FSC. it’s been on consignment there forever. i shape down at paradise fiberglass in watsonville. what about you? kirk
right now I’m shaping in the garage, and set it up for weekend long periods which is fine for just my first couple boards, but I have been looking to rent a shaping bay somewhere in sc so that after shaping them I can take them straight over to stretch and have them glassed…do you rent over at watsonville fiberglass or is it yours? mark brown down at paradise fiberglass lets me use one of his shaping rooms on the agreement that i use him and his staff for glassing. i live in SC and used to have a nicely appointed shaping room in my garage. we’ve moved since then so i have to drive down to watsonville for every board. a bit of a pain, but at least i don’t have to transport shaped blanks anymore. you might want to contact monte macdonald (he makes “rouge wave” surfboards). i know that he uses a room over by stretch’s factory and he would probably rent it to you. i don’t have his number, but ross at FSC might or try stretch. good luck, kirk
