hi I want change my laminating racks and I want build my new like > ‘glassing 101’ video. someone use it? thanks The benefit of a stand that will elevate is really nice on the back.I have one that I made from an old beauty shop chair that I can pump up with a pedal.But…what about just making another stand that is at the higher level and just shift the board over to it when its time to clean up the laps.I may have posted this before but what the h*%# I can’t remember things anymore. Unless you’re a production glasser - why worry about an adjustable stand. Built my laminating stand out of wood at high chest height and it’s a joy. For a board or two a month there’s no fatigue and the lap is right there with minimal bending. Take the board to a shaping rack for between coat work.
