What is the best way to go with logos?? Should I just print them out on a laser jet or what? I want it to look good and not fade, is this still the way to go?
Laser jets fade, but then foam yellows. The best eay to go is to make your own. If you use one color it makes it easy because you don’t have to worry about registration. Use Nadar 6100 series ink and silky paper. Get a screen burns and do it youself. If you are only doing a few then do then paint them by hand with same materials. Should answer your ? Prining inks haven’t come far unless you use some sort of die sublimation printer???I don’t know?? I do know that your home use printers don’t have much success when it comes to fading. Luck…

It’s about a year old and hasn’t faded yet. Just about everything fades eventually. Anyway, it won’t smear or bleed with resin, but don’t rub/squeegee it too hard, or the colored paper may rub off. Also, just be careful that the printer doesn’t crinkle the paper. You may need to try a couple times to make sure everything’s smooth.

here’s a different one. i print my own logo’s from a woodcut. i flipped the image and used a dremel to cut out the white areas and i just print them my self with acrylics. just like art class. i only make a board or two a month so it works, plus it has that unique woodcut look. if i was doing more i would just pay a printer to screen them up.
Another thing you can do is make a stencil from thim plexy… Or a thin peice of vinyl, rubi to create static and lay it on the board, spray. Or a stencil of any thin material, use "spray mount and temporarily adhere it to the board or silky paper, spray,
Try a rubber stamp you can get them made for cheap, and they look like screened labels.I have used ,tissue and inks(hand drawn),pro screened labels on rice paper, stencils directly on the blanks, but I like my 882c ink jet, I JUST HAVE SPECIAL CARTRIDGES that I re-fill with my own ink mix.FULL COLOR nice and bright no fade…at least no rapid fade…got some more than 5years old and no signs of fade.Herb.
