Can a kid learn to surf on a fish? Specifically, it’s re-learning, as kid in question already learned on a mid-length, but is now older and pretty rusty. Fish in question is 6’2", a super wide fat, thicky quad… what do you all think?

I went from learning basics on a mid length to 6’2’’ keel fish. My most fave board ever. I have another midlength now, but i save that for tiny days, or high tide mush. The good stuff i take the fish. Definately possible, in fact highly probable
