I have a Choice Fish, from the early 1980’s. I am the orginal owner. On the bottom of the board there is a glassed on decal saying; Featuring Steve Lis Designs. The Deck has a Choice decal. The board is 5’8", stringeless and shaped to be a stand up fish. The blue color is an air brush spray on the foam not tinted resin. So, is this a Rich Pavel shaped board? or a Steve Lis? Should I sell it as a Lis fish? I bought this so long ago I do not remember who I spoke to when I ordered it. It was a custom order.

those two have been friends for a long time now so it doesnt surprise me that they would do things like this
the penciled in logo is what Rich does to boards that he shapes
Rich did a bunch of stuff like that. i have a pavel Choice logo on the deck....And a Brewer Decal on the bottom. Signed by Brewer and pavel on the tail.
Made around that time Brewer got blown off the island ('89) and landed in San Diego. Had, Pavel, Ghio, Holly probably more? finishing a bunch of his boards.
Thanks for the help. I was not sure if those were Pavel’s pencil marks or those of Lis. I do agree that selling it as a Steve Lis design shaped by Pavel the best Choice
