Hi there, I put the rice paper logo on top of hot coat and found that quite difficult to keep the logo in position while in putting the gloss coat. The brush will slip the logo away. Is it possible to glue the logo with resin then put another layer? Possible it takes two or more gloss coat to cover the logo, since rice paper has thickness. After the resin cures you can go ahead and hot coat as normal just be careful when sanding, we used to do pretty thick hot coats back then so the “bump” wasn’t a big factor.By the way this laminate application was done before the actual hotcoat.
If put the laminate on before the hot coat you can put a piece of fiberglass (just enough to cover the lam)over it.
