So who is the UK distributor? Mailed the Rainbow Fin distributor twice and left a message on an answering machine on Classic Surf Supplies - SURF & KITE
I had the same problem, I managed to get in touch with them but never received the info I was after, so I switched ideas. Shame as they make some lovely keel fins. Might be easier to buy direct from the states.
I first became interested in Lokbox because they seem to offer more for the fish enthusiasts. It seems that there are more fins available than are shown on the website. So how do I buy a fin thats not advertised?
I’ve tried to contact both Rainbow and Lokbox by email and got responses, but they went deadly silent when I asked for a shipping quote. Tom S. told me he’d ordered some fish fins something like four or five times and waited months before getting them. They did look sweet though…
Listen up, I spoke to the Lokbox rep this morning. He’s on his way to Rainbow Fin Co. as we speak. There is a distributor in the UK, has the routing jigs etc. Sit tight and he will be addressing your needs today. In the interim, if I can help answer any ?'s, feel free to contact me, Steve.

I need the routing kit, boxes and a good selection of fins. Shall I just import from US?
hi all
the above info is correct - mick is the guy to speak to, he will get back if you leave your details. He sorted me with some boxs and a pair of rainbow keel fins a while ago.
Sounds promising wsg. Can I ask how you know what fins are available from Rainbow? Does a rep visit with a van full of fins? Do you get a printed catalogue with all the fins available? I understand that they also do custom fin templates. Have you used that service? Also do mean that our needs will be addressed on a local level in that uk shapers will be able to easily view the compete range of fins or on a boardroom level in there being a drive to market Lokbox in the UK as an alternaltive to FCS?
Yes I get my fins from Rainbow, yes I know the reps personnally, yes you can see all the fins available online on the Rainbow web site.Yes custom fin templates are available, I have several myself, and yes they are currently working on servicing the UK’s needs as an alternate to FCS. I have been using and riding Lokbox since it’s inception, and believe it to be one of the best systems on the market. Your interest and questions have been relayed to the Lokbox crew. Thank you for your interest. I will have more info for all concerned soon, Steve.
Possible good news for the uk. Has anyone checked out the Rainbow site coz the contact us links dont work so I haven’t been able to mail for info or to tell them to change Conard to Canard for their Quad fins. Its been up quite a while like that .Could be my browser. The Rainbow site is definately improving with the “specialty shortboard fin” section. Not sure if I have spotted this one yet http://www.swaylocks.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=186818;search_string=lokbox%20turbo;#186818 . Easy enough to put up a site with shopping Cart for the uk. Good up to date pics and discriptions. Then get a rep round to all the shaping shops and get a few influential locals surfing the boards and swapping out fins. It shouldn’t be so hard to get hold of a good product.
Hi guys, sorry for the late reply, i’ve been on the road. Bear with us as this fish thing is very new, and we’re trying to get product in place for different areas. Mick is the contact for the UK, and the info posted above is correct. If you contact Mick and don’t recieve a prompt response, please contact me directly at lokbox@sbcglobal.net And i will get back to you as fast as possible. Thanks for pointing out the typo on rainbows site, we’ll have it fixed right away. Custom templates are available, but we require that you purchase at least 12 sets to get it started. You will need to mail a template to Rainbow fin company at 783 san andreas road, la selva beach ca. 95076. If you want your logos on the fins, you must send your artwork/logos also. Please do not send laminates, it must be on disk formatted in adobe illustrator with attached jpeg, which can also be e-mailed at info@rainbowfins.com thanks Jim
