Besides being the newest/posibly greatest, does anyone know if Futures’ Vector Foil side bites actually reduce drag…likewise, Wingtips (no, not the shoes…though I’m sure they’d make a statment in the lineup) turning drag into ‘apparent thrust’ ??
They don’t reduce drag, they add to the total drag. However, they do seem to create less drag than a typical side fin… their smaller template and inside foil make the fin more efficient than a standard, single foiled side fin.
The added “apparent thrust” part is correct… they add drive and make the board more responsive.
