Totally not surf-related, but…
I freaking love this thing!! I think I kind of blew my wife’s mind that it was my favorite gift of christmas, but you should have seen me, like a kid on christmas morning… Or someone equally giddy. Later (2 muffins and a croissant later), I was more like a bloated pufferfish on a beach, but still a giddy one.

Shwuz, I’d be stoked about that little gizmo too. We don’t have a microwave (scary weird radioactive confusing stuff doesn’t come near my food!) so we love little cookers. Current favorite is the 2 dog/2 bun combo (well, after the coffee maker, of course) but that one there might zoom straight to top status…
For Christmas, I got kids with enough legos to not stop building for 2 whole days: Exo Force Base, 3 Toa Inika Bionicles, 3 ExoForce robots, and a Jedi Starfighter: $200 on MasterCard. 2 days my wife & I can sit around the house & read quietly (or whatever 
): Priceless.

I’m pretty confident I can cut down to 1.5mm (1/16") planks out of a huge tree trunk of paulownia I bought, and get them 6 inches wide!

Roy, it came with a nice 210mm (8 1/4") thin kerf blade, so i’m set! I hate turning good wood to dust

The poor man’s CNC machine.
Yep belt sander and sanding disc combo, I used that thing’s mother and father to make furniture once, probably be good for roughing out fins, nose and tail blocks, but go slow and watch ya fingers.
My Brother got me a really nice, double-edged Japanese razor/pull saw, which is my fav.
I’m going to go out and buy myself a new fishing rod.
