(which i wish he would release on video.) Hope this helps. If you can’t find any of these let me know. Matt I have been told there is a movie by Brian Taylor (of San Diego?), that contains some excellent footage (from within the last 3 years) of George mat surfing at Lennox. I asked George about it the other day, and among other things, he said it was “worth having, especially for study”. The friend who told me about it commented, “The thing that impressed me was how early George was catching the wave. He was cruising like a “longboarder” before the wave broke. Still way beyond me.” Dale

Productions. Greenough mat sequences are brief and slow motion is required to fully observe and appreciate. Super low, fast wake, weird bursts of acceleration without any visible effort from Greenough, snagging and cruising on unbroken swell, etc. He and his magic hovercraft move as one, like some bizarre form of skimming marine mammal. Pure Greenough, completely understated, highly efficient. Check it out.

What else is in the film, and how can we get a copy? Thanks- connor It
s just a short video/promo for his soon-to-be released film. Upside: loads of hot surfboard action, even some killer kneeboarding. Downside: it definitely should have a lot more of George
s mat surfing in it. Like somebody said, youll want to keep on hitting your remote
s “slow” and “rewind”. The surf mats gossamer flow under Greenough
s subtle piloting is impossible to fully understand and appreciate without some help. Exact same thing as watching a professional magician performing on video, and trying to figure out how the damn trick was done. I WANT MORE!!!
Dale: any recollection of the title? thanks! Matt Matt, Same as Ricky C. (below)!!

I do have a copy of “Fantasea” that I purchased over the web from some place in Australia and had to have it converted from PAL to NTSC so I could watch it here in the states. As i had posted earlier, the mat riding sequence of Greenough and friend Paul Gross at an undisclosed right point break is downright phenomenal!!!
