Looking for a Liddle Stubby 6'-6'4 range in Orange County

Hey guys, I’m brand new to the forum and board building.  I live in San Clemente and just finished my 3rd board.  I’m really loving my new hobby and board building in general.  I’ve been using my neighbors shaping room where we shape, glass, and sand the boards.  One day I hope to convert my single car garage to a shaping/glassing room modeled after his set up.  I’m hoping to build a Liddle Stubby for my next board, but I have never seen one in person.  If anyone out there has one that I can come look at let me know, I’ll bring your favorite beer for your trouble.  Thanks, looking forward to using the forum.

go buy one from putnam.

High quality plagerism

is only attainable

 when you have

unlimited access to the

item you wish to duplicate.

as well as  you have

the oportunity  to ride

the board in question

before during and after your project.

without using this copying method

you can sometimes become deluded as to your

success.500$ is more expensive than a case of beer, granted

but you can always re-sell the liddle after you build your rendition

which will of course be somewhat of an improvement.

Or you could just pretend to want to buy one

and go see putnam’s display at the liddle shop…

SAY…isn’t the surfing heritage museum in san clemente?

I think they might have a favorite beer day.

…ambrose…

start building out your garage workshop today

it will be ready when you get your new liddle

ready for dupe-ing … nice to have somebody else’s shop

but gracious access  won’t last forever.

Thanks for making a newbie feel welcome Ambrose.  I’ve been exchanging emails with Greg and it was his suggestion that I use this form to try to find one of his boards.  Yes, there is a museam in town, thanks for the suggestion.  I’m just looking to hold the board, look at the bottom rocker and contour as I’ve never made a transitional displacement hull.  Still looking…

Icons of Surf in San Clemente usually has a displacement hull or two on hand as well as models that incorporate some of those design elements like Chris Christenson’s C-Bucket.  Mitch’s Solana Beach is a drive for you but they usually have some Fineline boards in stock, also with hull elements.
