i just moved to santa cruz for school and im looking for a part tome job, in a factory or retail. i have experience in shops, worked at Christenson in san diego for 2+ years and moonlight glassing doing cleanup etc. also shape and glass my own stuff

Looks like your looking for a job in the surfboardbuilding area. I can’t help you with that, but if you are going to UC check with the work study department. When I was there I got a job at the Long Marine Lab. Very cool place to work when not studying. Checked the surf. Worked in the garden, repaired the roof, drove a fork lift, etc. I admit it was a long time ago. Your gonna love the surf, but I advise not volunteering the fact your a student from SoCal. At least until people get used to seeing your face in the water. And if you feel like surfing the other end of the Bay give me a PM. Mike
