loose shortboard for mush

i was wondering what my best bet would be for loose shortboard used in mushy waves. something i can throw around quite a bit. i was thinkin wings and a swallow tail. what else should i look at like foil-wise and rocker-wise? im either usin the 6’9"R or 6’8"R clarks. thanks guys

Wider and flatter would be the call. Will you be using the whole blank? assuming your after a 6’ 6" or 6’ 8" or so, I’d Say around a 12" nose, 19 1/4" mid and 15" tail with around 5" nose rocker and 2" tail rocker.

scott’s got the call. nice wide tail. you could go as wide as 20" with similar nose and tail if it looks a little parallel thru the middle. you can prob. stick with the natural rocker of the blank and just lose a little off both ends.
