I’m a big guy and groveling well is kind of a weekness for me so I hoping this type of board might help. If I ever get the money I was thinking along the lines of a 5’10, 20.25, 2.44. Would this work or should I be looking to go more foam or less foam?

I'll give you this link.  I have been contemplating my "shortie" build for a few weeks now and this thread has a lot of good information.  Some of it is repetitive but very helpful.

im 6’2 and flictuate between 180 and 190

my lost RNF quad is 5’8 20 2.3 and floats and performs just fine

Thanks for the link. Very interesting read for bigger guys and Silly has some points that I may consider in a board for the future.

Dannowar I’m closer to the 200 mark than the 190 mark and a board at your size just sounds so small to me, maybe I’m wrong since the nose holds a lot more foam than a shortboard. Thanks for the input though.
