Howdy, Im trying to a bit of board research. I have a Michael Cundith 6’x 20’ Louie Ferreria model twin fin board (it rides unbelievably well). Im trying to find out if anybody has any knowledge of these boards, when made etc and who Louie Ferreira was (sorry for my ignorance i tried web searching with no god results). I know he surfed the pipe masters in 81 when simon anderson won of his thruster. Thanks

MC was making some very advanced twin fins at Wildwerness before he moved to Australia-might very welll be one of those (or at least that design)
Louie Ferreira is a former pro surfer/shaper from Hawaii that learned his shaping skills while riding for Town & Country Surfboards in Pearl City. Other shapers there at the time were Glen Minami and Larry Bertelmann. I see his boards pop every now and then. I think he did a stint shaping in Australia while visiting there in the late 70s, early 80’s period.
The Louie Ferreria I have was shaped by MC, i guess he may have been a team rider for Sky at one point in his career.
