This is my first time making a surf board and i am interested on how to make pinlines with either an airbrush or those posca pens.

Sand hotcoat to 220 in the direction of the pinline, then tape off with a good tape and paint with posca. I had really bad luck with masking tape, but then switched to plastic stencil tape from finessepinstriping.com and have never looked back. It is a little more expensive, like $7 per 40 feet, but my lines (when the hotcoat is sanded adequately) are razor-sharp.
Like any other step in board construction, your results will reflect your time, patience and preparation invested.
