Just did an e-Bay search for “longboard surfboard”.
I’m referring to all the $200-$300, EPS imports. Maybe it was the stacks and stacks and stacks of shrink-wrapped, chinese sponge boards and SUPs I walked past in Costco yaesterday that put me in a funk.
Ahhh, well…
Howzit steiny, That video just made me throw up my dinner. My MOS in the Marine Corps was a machine gunner and I would use one on them all.Aloha,Kokua
thank club ed for that..
I heard Santa Cruz locals are heavy. Do those guys all have tattoos and would they be heckling me in the parking lot for riding a home made board? I wonder if Richard Schmidt gives a lesson on how to give stink eye?
That’s no worse than surfing at Canoes in Waikiki.
Just add a few outrigger canoes, SUPs and the occasional 40’ catamaran plowing through the lineup yelling at everyone to get out of their way to the mix, and you’ll know what we have to live with.
demolition derby. looks alot like waikiki until the big summer swells blow em out of the water.
please don’t let the crowds and the money changers in the temple make you bitter. if you become bitter then they win. if you keep your center and have your fun despite the crowds then you win- heck, we all win. bitterness is its own punishment. no matter how crowded it is i still feel so good and so free surfing. happiness is its own reward.
all my best to you!
