Marko VS. White Hot EPS

Has any one used both Marko and White Hot EPS foam sold on foamez? I wanted to see which one was better to shape.

The marko is molded and has dome in the deck. White hot is not molded and there is no dome in the deck.

What is the benefit of a dome in the deck?

Nothing.

Marko’s blanks look more like a surfboard blank. White Hot, Segway, Austin foam all come in slabs. The benefit of a slab blank is that your not limited to a specific width size. The benefit of Marko is that your already preshaped some what, kind of like a poly blank.

I think (don’t quote me) White Hot & Segway use a tighter fused bead than Marko. Makes for a cleaner shape.
