Fellow tape freaks.Just got a roll of 3m’s new green masking tape,it has been reformulated and it is really nice…just like the old green tape but a lot more flexible for those difficult bends. They call it 233plus.Priced the same, I pay around $2.15 per roll for 3/4 inch.Available at your friendly auto paint supply store.Just a thought. thanks for the tip, cleanlines. i noticed you were “clean lines” for a while there. but you got it back together, and that’s what counts! i really appreciate and enjoyed those fine glassing pics at damascus. i’m saving up for the tapes as we speak.>>> Fellow tape freaks.Just got a roll of 3m’s new green masking tape,it has > been reformulated and it is really nice…just like the old green tape but > a lot more flexible for those difficult bends. They call it 233plus.Priced > the same, I pay around $2.15 per roll for 3/4 inch.Available at your > friendly auto paint supply store.Just a thought. does it stick nice to foam? can it be used in all aspects of board building? glassing, painting?

All of the 3M 233 series tapes are excellent. The green series is a little more flexible and bends easier.Surfboard Material Suppliers generally do a good job but all of these tapes and abrasives are basically Auto Paint related.Try to get a 3M catalog and check out all of the new sanding and polishing stuff…lotsa good stuff out there.
