Years ago, I was lucky enough to have a micheal peterson single fin come into my collection - the board is in amazing conditon and i am inquisative to find out if there would be any international intrest for this original MP.
I have been offered a substantial amount of money for it here in Australia, but I thought I would share it with every one to see - just incase someone had a missing peice in there collection. This is a pretty rare opportunity especially because the board is in exellent condition for its age.
I am considering selling it, but as any serious collector would understand it would take alot to part with my prized possesion.
I was watching a signed MP surfboard laminate on eBay recently. Bidding went to 203.50 USD and reserve still wasn’t met. I’m afraid your nice board would be way out of my league.
At the moment with the replica and surftech models around. To pick up an original would be great , however MP is still supervising shapes of his own and if he is checking and signing them as are many of the surfboards today ( I don’t think one man can do 1000 boards a year) as do many companies/ individuals then that makes the new MP models originals . In saying this that makes a second hand board (unless it is mint condition) the same price as a Fitzgerald , M’ctavish, Jackson or a Merrick for that probably about $50 (unless in mint condition)
